Raúl A. Carrillo, Sr. (“Senior”) is the firm's office manager and controller. He brings more than forty (40) years of management experience to the firm, and is instrumental in addressing the financial goals of the firm, and the firm’s clientele. Senior is bilingual and his fluency in the Spanish language makes him a frequent participant in settlement facilitations and client interviews.
Deena Vallejos is a litigation and trial paralegal. She has worked in the legal field since 1999, and has been with the Carrillo Law Firm since 2006, after having previously served as Mr. Carrillo’s assistant and primary staff member from 1999 through 2002. She earned her Associate of Occupational Business (meritorious) from Doña Ana Branch Community College in 1999, completed the Paralegal Certificate Course through the University of Texas at El Paso in 2000, andearned herBachelor of Business Administration (with honors) from New Mexico State University in 2005. Deena is also a member of the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of New Mexico.
Mario Trujillo is a legal assistant and the firm’s technology manager. He is a 1994 graduate of New Mexico Military Institute, and earned his Associates Degree in General Business from Doña Ana Branch Community College in 2000. He has four (4) years of national hotel chain management experience. Mario has been with the Carrillo Law Firm since 2006, and handles the firm's information technology infrastructure and automated billing functions, as well as special tasks associated with client matters. Mario is bilingual.
Elisa Romero is a litigation paralegal, and is Raúl Carrillo’s assistant. She has worked in the legal field since 1981, and has been with the Carrillo Law Firm since May, 2007. She is a graduate of Valley Business College. Elisa also completed the Legal Secretary Course through Doña Ana Branch Community College, and the Paralegal Certificate Course through the University of Texas at El Paso. Elisa is bilingual.
Felicia Parra is a litigation and transaction paralegal, and is Karen Wootton’s assistant. She has worked in the legal field since 2007, and joined the Carrillo Law Firm in June, 2010. Felicia is bilingual.
Kayla Blundell is a litigation paralegal, and is Daniel James and Steven Lovett’s assistant. She has been in the legal field since 2007, and joined the Carrillo Law Firm in August 2011. Kayla received her Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies in December 2008. She also received her paralegal certification through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) in May 2009, and advanced her certification in discovery in April 2011. Kayla is currently working on her Bachelors in Applied Business Technology – Legal Studies through the University of Texas at Brownsville, and is anticipated to graduate in December 2012.
