Amanda J. Thom is an Associate Attorney for Carrillo Law Firm, P.C. She has experience in both the state and federal court systems. Mrs. Thom has worked in a variety of settings, including in local and federal government, and in both civil and criminal law.
Amanda’s interests lie in business litigation, civil rights, and animal law. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mrs. Thom spent time working for both large and small local governments, including the County of San Diego and the City of Santee in Southern California. In both roles, Mrs. Thom worked closely with attorneys regarding various legal matters, including municipal law and animal law.
While in law school, Mrs. Thom interned with the City of Chula Vista, gaining exposure to civil litigation, and with the United States Attorney’s Office, gaining exposure to the federal court system. Ms. Thom also participated in the Competitive Advocacy Program (moot court), and became a Senior Editor on the Law Review.
