Since opening in May of 2007 our firm has been a small and highly efficient group of litigators concentrating on insurance defense, civil rights defense, employment defense, business, commercial and real estate litigation, and select plaintiffs’ litigation. We are now pleased to announce the addition of Karen Wootton, a former partner at the highly respected Miller Law Firm, who brings to the firm her background in real estate, land use planning, general business consulting, including business formation and dissolution, and estate planning for business clients. The firm’s founder, Raúl A. Carrillo, Jr., has been litigating in New Mexico since 1990, and is a former Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of the El Paso Electric Company. Mr. Carrillo is also a former federal law clerk, and former partner at the firm of Sandenaw, Carrillo & Piazza in Las Cruces.
